- A pair of carved bookends of mountain goats standing on blocks of wood. Goats simply carved from 4.5 cm wide block of wide grained (fir?) wood which has had the grain darkened and raised, then shellacked. Both goats are rearing slightly with their front legs on a rock. Base plinth is plain block of wood 4.5 cm high which has been bevelled along the upper edges. Bases covered on bottom with green felt.

- (a) A white helmet with a black border and an insert for skull protection and safety. The insert is white foam covered with ridged teal blue cover, a black leather chin strap with metal buckle, inside plastic headband, clear plastic covering, fabric, criss-cross rigging support with cord and heavy-duty nylon strip suspension to create a space between skull and hardhat. A metal zipper attaching (to three quarters of the insert) earflaps outer black plastic inner lined with red and black corduroy. There is a white fabric tag with “M” in red on the inner grey headband and a gold and black oblong label glued on the front with black lettering on a gold-coloured background “Russell Sporting Goods CALGARY”. Written in black felt pen on the interior of the shell “JAPAN”.(b) The ear flap detachable portion with the other side of the corresponding helmet zipper. Made out of black plastic with a black and red corduroy lining.

- A circular Alpine Club Mountain Guide pin with a forest-green, enamel maple leaf centred on the pin face, edged in silver and with the letters “ACMG” in silver. The outer rim of the pin is a coiled climbing rope encircling it three times; at the bottom is a red enamel curved bar edged in silver with “MOUNTAIN” on top and “GUIDE” below in silver. The stylized cut-out maple leaf has a flat one-dimensional pair of skis crossed with an ice axe underneath. Both extend onto the coiled rope rim. Stamped on the back of the pin at the centre and under the pin set is the number “27” and something indecipherable beneath. There is one horizontal long-hinged pin soldered on the back that is rivetted at one end and fastens at the other end (bottom) with a swivel-locking safety clasp.
