- A carrying case for cosmetics (a) of pigskin with a full zipper around three sides and carrying straps. The case is lined with moire fabric and leather strips to hold containers. There is a mirror (b) on the inside of the lid. The case contains a bottle (c) and two flat jars (d,e). A label on the iside of the case notes that the case is Canadian, and there are metal plated letters on the exterior of the case “P.B.M.”.

- A square wooden trunk covered with green painted canvas. The trunk has wooden reinforcing strips on the top, sides and bottom. The edges of the trunk are reinforced with metal strips, and the corners are reinforced with brass. The trunk has leather handles and wraparound leather straps for securing the lid. The trunk also has two snap latches and circular locking latch on the front. The inside of the trunk is lined with striped paper. A sticker on the trunk reads “Mrs. John Brewster, Banff, Alta., New Westminster, B.C.”.
