- A large, possibly walnut, box with a hinged lid . The lid has a small square of mother of pearl inlay as a centrepiece decoration. The box is lined with red velvet. This box has a hidden compartment (a pull out drawer) at the bottom which can be opened by lifting the lid and pulling out the metal pin which is inset into the right hand wall of the box. The lid is badly cracked, the lining is worn, the base is cracked and there is general chipping of the exterior surface.
