Engraved with “LONGWARE” on one side “H.G.” on the other.(e) A heavy metal oval carabiner with a gate than non-locking gate mechanism. “CJB” is engraved on the side.

The sole has single clinkers around the forepart and around the heel; muggers in the centre and a single mugger in the centre of the heel; Tricouni nails (5 on the instep) and 4 on the outside opposite. There is a number “75360” written on the inside left ankle part of the boot.
