Description
Watercolour painting with pen and ink detailing. It is a landscape painting with 4 Mountains, blue skies, an evergreen forested area, leafy trees, bushes, a building with a red roof, yellow walls and a wood fence. The sky accounts for half the image surface, some mountain peaks and trees cross the center line and stretch into the sky. There are four birds, off centered, flying in the back ground. The forested area stretches over the mountain ranges, coming up just behind the building which is placed in the distance to the viewer. The left side of the image is surrounded by bushes and three large trees. There are four figures in the painting, two closer to the viewer with red coats, blue pants. They are placed in the middle at an opening in the gate. Another figure is on the right edge, riding a dark brown horse. the fourth figure is standing next to the building, too far to paint details. There is a white structure to the right of the building, Unidentified.

A watercolour landscape painting. A large dark green/blue pool in the centre is surrounded by rocks and dominates the painting. Just above and to the left is another small pool. The rocks surrounding the pool are beige and brown with dark blue accents and outlines. There are a couple small patches of green grass amongst the rocks. Faint pencil marks of letters can be seen scattered on rocks and pencil marks of outline sketch. The artist signature is in the bottom rhc, “A.J.CASSON”. Au verso there are two stickers. The sky takes up the top half of the piece, and is painted with a light blue wash. There is some fluffy white cloud activity. The foreground is a close up view of a mountain or large foothill. Nothing is growing on this portion of the piece but a small coniferous tree on the right side. A patch of yellow grass grows around this tree. This mountain or foothill has a since of being of a high elevation, through which another mountain range can be seen in the close distance as the foreground dips in the center. These two portions take up the other half of the piece.

Description
This is a fall mountain and river scene. In the foreground, the grass around the river has turned yellow. The river exits at the bottom of the piece in a portion that spans from the LLC to the LRC. There are small islands covered with yellow grass in the river. Trees surround the river and grassy area creating a line as they visually connect when the river bends to the left. In the background, above the trees, is a mountain which takes up half of the piece. The right side of the mountain is in shadow. The sky is painted with a light blue wash, and is occupied with light clouds. Where the sky meets the mat at the top of the piece, a small piece of sky pokes through the clouds and is cropped by the mat.
