Description: Cane (or short alpenstock) with a very smoothly polished wooden shaft and a black cast iron pointed tip. A black chamois antelope antler forms a sharp hook attached to the shaft. Black printing on the handle reads “Staubagh.”

Also a narrow piece of metal at 32. cm. down from the toe, screwed on repair piece. Metal cable binding "Chalet" and "Harvey E. Dodds". Bindings have been changed—not in good shape.
