Surface is hand engraved with scroll design accented by tracings of black enamel line forming predominant pattern. Small, gold, pin spike attached to hinge resting on small platform at one side of back, fastening under hook clasp with locking lever on opposite side. Marks: on top of hook clasp: “14k”

- An ivory cross with arms capped in gold. Simple, squared, Roman cross cut from ivory, end of each arm fitted with small, cast gold cap with .2 cm lip around arm. Flat bar holding hinged pin spike at one end and small hook clasp at other, is fastened behind transverse arm of cross.
