The purse has a beaded tassel and a slit opening in the side with two angular metal rings that slip over the purse and secure its contents. Two Canadian ten cent coins dated 1911 and 1917 were found inside this purse.

Each piece is marked with a maker’s mark.a) The sugar bowl is a rounded twelve sided bowl with two loop handles that are bent up. The bowl has a twelve sided flat lid with a pointed gold knob. b-f) Each of the six cups are rounded with twelve sides. The cups have flared lips, small bases and squared handles. g-l) The round saucers have twelve grooves to match the facets in sides of the cups.
