The mask has round glass lenses with metal frames. There is a spring clamp inside to pinch the nostrils and a rubber tube for insertion into the mouth that leads to a metal nozzle outside with a rubber sack. The breathing aparatus is attached to a cloth hose with rigid rings leading to metal canister with a filter at the bottom. b) The rectangular carrying case is made of khaki coloured canvas with a snapping flap and ring on the sides. The case has two compartments to fit the canister on one side and a metal coil at the bottom of the other which also contains the mask.
