Collection of pottery sherds.a) bright blue/cobalt glaze (7.9 cm x 7.5 cm x 4.5 cm) - remnant from the base and side of a very thick pot; base has trimmed wide foot and shows moulded relief rising from crackled glaze; outside of shard fully glazed with triangular shape showing clay inside where glaze was not applied; one edge of side is smooth and glazed forming a finished edge; other edges rough where broken. b) bright blue cobalt glaze (6.5 cm x 4.0 cm x 2.0 cm) - almost rectangular thick sherd; slightly curved and unglazed on inside.c) same as b, possible same vessel (5.5 cm x 5.0 cm x 2.0 cm) - one edge glazed (possibly rim) and bleeding slightly to inside.d) bright green (lead?) glaze (4.0 cm x 3.0 cm x 1.5 cm) - rhombus shape; broken obliquely through thickness to be very thick at one end and thin at the other e) bright aqua glaze (3.5 cm x 2.0 cm x 1.5 cm) - small triangular sherd, slightly curved and glazed on inside with outside rough and unglazed. f) dull turquoise glaze (5.0 cm x 2.0 cm x 1.7 cm) - small triangular shape with moulded relief-glaze covered surface on one face, smooth glazed surface on opposite face.

Two 1885/1985 Banff National Park Centennial banners. a) National Park Centennial is written in brown lettering in both French and English (5.0 & 8.0 letters) A large 1985 (14.0 letters) in white with brown trim is set between the English and French in the upper half of the banner, the Park logo (beaver) and the dates 1885 and 1985 appear in brown in the lower portion. An orange dotted trail zig-zags from bottom to top. All is set on a white nylon background. There are 3 grommets on either side. The bottom of the banner is cut in tails. This banner is used and rather soiled. b) same as banner (a) but new and still in package.

Commemorative Centennial Coins, Banff National Park [3 items] (a) 1885-1985 silver coin, beaver on one side with "Parks Canada 1885-1985 Parcs Canada" written around the circumference divided by 4 small maple leaves,"James Bernard Harkin 1911-1936 written on the other side with a picture of Harkin. Written around the outside in both English and French is "First Commissioner National Parks" . The coin is in a black leather case with gold, metal trim and blue and white material on the inside,a circular slot is cut for the coin. The coin is encased in clear, hard plastic (b) an identical coin to (a) but housed in a beige and brown card brochure, the brochure has the two sides of the coin printed, the beaver on the front, Harkin on the back, the Park logo along the right side. In the interior of the card the coin is stored along with a short piece on the beaver and a history on the Parks Centennial
