A tallow candle is placed on the spike, and as it burns it drips through the spout, into the base of the container, where the tallow is collected and reused. The bottom of this candlestick is marked with abstract geometric characters within a rectangular design.

- A tall pitcher which tapers gradually to the neck and then flares out to form a large pouring lip. The pitcher has a squared loop handle and a domed lid with a squared loop handle. The base, lip rim, and handles are outlined with silver. A thin sheet of silver has been applied to the front of the pot in a large curved X-shape having rolled scrolls at the ends of the bottom legs. The silver extends around sides and back of the pot as a floral filigree. The X-shape is monogrammed “P.E.B.” and marked with the number “80”.
