Short ribbons are printed with gold lettering “1972” and “Clagary Exhibition and Stampede -*- FIRST.” The back of the rosette has a metal hanger and a blue and white round sticker marked “Made in Canada by Loder” and “LODER ADVERTISING SERVICE LTD. EDMONTON.” There are blank spaces on the sticker after “DATE,” “CLASS,” “WON BY,” and “JUDGE.”
