- A branch of a magnolia tree enters the page at the blc and stretches up towards the trc. The branch is painted with a black ink. On the branch, magnolia flowers (2) and magnolia buds (3) reach towards the top of the page. There is light green ink on the flowers and buds, a red center is visible on the flower closest to the left. The buds are painted with a mid-tone of brown.
