A bright orange canvas belt that fastens with a natural coloured leather buckle and strap. The buckle is also leather covered. The belt has been used to hold a pin and medal collection, many of which are still attached. Original with the belt and on leather at either end are 'Overseas Mounted Rifles' pin (at buckle) and a crossed sword pin (at strap). Description
A pair of binoculars (a) in a case (b).a) A pair of black leather binoculars with a brass frame and plastic eyepieces. A hinge on the arm at the middle adjusts the lenses to eye width. The focus is adjusted by a large notched plastic wheel on the arm. Further adjustment can be made by twisting the right eyepiece, with a scale reading “_5 0 + 5”. A narrow leather strap is attached to brass eyes on the body of the binoculars On the left side is “Voigtlander & Sohn Braunschweig & London No. 3380”b) The binocular case is tan-coloured leather with a flip top lid that is secured with a strap that buckles through a leather covered buckle on the front. There are leather straps on the back, to secure the case to a belt, and a neckstrap attached to the sides of the case. The case is lined with red velvet and built up inside to fit the binoculars securely. The case bears the handwritten initials “-.H.W.” and a date (1911?).

A serigraph print of landscape with pale blue mat. Landscape of Lake Louise in the wintertime. In background there is a mountain range with Victoria Glacier. Below mountains is a snow-covered Lake Louise. In the foreground there are two small pine trees both covered with snow. One is far left and the other far right with a snow-covered bush beside it. there are tracks on the snow. The print is comprised of seven colours, a palette of soft blue, white, green and brown/yellow. Across the bottom is an artist inscription and title of the work. The artist signature is in the bottom right corner. Au verso there are two large labels. The one on the left is white with black print, “SERIGRAPHY BY SALTIEL” (followed by description of serigraph process) Bottom half of label reads, “ CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY This document certifies that the original serigraph titled : Exclusive Edition, ASAC Winter Retreat, Lake Louise is number A/P #4 of titled, signed and numbered serigraphs in an edition of only 50 plus 13 artist’s proofs. 7 colours have been used to create this image, printed on 100% cotton rag Stonehenge paper. Upon completion the screen is destroyed. Artist’s signature: Saltiel Date completed: November 6, 1990.” The label on the right side is white with black ink and has an image of the artist in the top left corner, see artist bio.
