Other side is inscribed: "Presented by The Royal Burgh of Banff, Scotland to The Town of Banff, Alberta for Annual Competition at their Highland Games." The mollusk hinge is very crude and appears to have been broken away, there are two circles on either side of hinge where the wood is missing. Turtle is dark hardwood, shell is black lacquered wood.
