Base is natural brown in simple basket weave at centre with each piece of cedar split where the base of the basket turns to form sides and then worked in birdcage technique of weaving where a coil is laid inside this frame of split cedar and the individual pieces of cedar are tied in to each of the coils by a series of twined stitches.

Design is yellow ground of straight beads with slanted rows forming border, three patterns of indigo tepees point to point over red diamonds, and three barbs of red at bases. The belt itself was a commercial man's belt, but has been sliced in half and stitched together with the former ends concealed and the new ends are squared off.
