- Beads strung on heavy cotton thread in diamond shapes, no backing, dominant colour light blue in main body with bands of dark blue and amber in rows across. "T" opening for neck outlined with very pale blue beads, rawhide strips sewn onto top front opening with rawhide strip 34.0 long laced through for tie. Two pieces of string tied 3.0 from opening on shoulder to hold together when worn. Another band of beads at centre front and back 45.0 x 6.0 with 2 bands of light mauve beads, attached to bottom are 2 strings of short tube beads, dark blue on ends, others amber, each with a small brass bell at the bottom, some bells missing. Edges bound with cotton with narrow rawhide ties under arms.

(a) blue and white, 54.0x2.0, narrow strap of blue and white beads in a zigzag pattern, joined together at bottom and ending with four long strands of blue and white fringe. (b) Blue and white with buckskin tassel, 45.0x.8, strap at edges with white zigzag line between. Ends joined together with fringed buckskin tassel. (c) Blue and light blue, 48.0x1.0, strap as (b) but half zigzag blue and half light blue along length. Ends knotted at bottom extend below knot and end in chain link fringe of light and blue. (d) black and white, 49.0x.8, knotted as (c) but patterned as (b), white inside. (e) light blue and orange, 38.3x.7, single strand of six light blue beads between an oval shape composed of bright orange beads. - Black elastic rayon belt with 5 diamond shaped groups of metal studs, fancy metal filigree buckle resembles butterfly when hooked. One side of buckle has some decoration missing, other side missing original hook. Large hook sewn on to end of material rather than on buckle. Metal studs are probably "marcasite" def. a pale, bronze-yellow, orthorhombic iron disulfide also called white iron pyrites. Also an ornament made of crystallized marcasite or of polished steel.
