Dispersed throughout the scene are twenty four little doors numbered from 1 - 24. Each door opens to reveal a picture printed on a luminous sheet of paper glued to the calendar. The calendar has not been used and is contained in its original envelope for mailing. Marks, printed in Western Germany.

- An old-fashioned metal alarm clock with a manual bell (4.0x8.0cm wide) on top. The face is off-white in colour and made from paper. The numbers on the face are in Roman numerals with gold-coloured ornate crosses in between each number. There is a round, intricate, gold-coloured design (7.0cm radius) in the centre of the face. There are two black clock hands, hour and minute, and two smaller mini faces (both measuring 2.0cm wide) above and below the centre of the face. The top mini face is an alarm, with numbers 1-12. The bottom mini face displays the seconds, in degrees of 10 with numbers. On top of the bell there is a gold-coloured ring, possibly used for carrying. There are two gold-coloured splayed legs to support the clock when upright. There is a golden banded detail around the circumference of the face and the body. On the back of the clock, there are two wind-up mechanisms, the viewer-left key is marked with “W.A.” and has an arrow pointing in a clockwise direction, the viewer-right key is marked with “W.T.” and has an arrow pointing in a counterclockwise direction. Situated between these wind-up mechanisms are two buttons that are arranged vertically. The top button controls the alarm and moves the hands in a clockwise direction. The bottom button is missing. Above the top button there is an “A”, and below the bottom button there is an “H”. There is also a slide-adjustment knob marked with an “F” on viewer-left and “S” on viewer-right (possibly used as a faster-slower feature for the alarm bell). There is also a button missing from underneath this slide-adjustment knob. Scratched into the top of the back of the clock is “Nick Morant Banff”. Written upside-down at the top viewer-right is “55.”

- A smoothly polished flat onyx stone (a) in a red velour carrying case (b) lined with satin. The stone has a finger depression carved into one side. Inside of the box the satin is marked with “Calmulet” in gold writing. The stone is also accompanied by a small pamphlet, which fits inside the box, and explains how the stone is used. The pamphlet reads:“As the ancient Chinese pondered the weighty problems of their time, or contemplated deep philosphies, it was their practice to stroke the smooth polished surface of valuable jade, a habit they found soothing to tired minds and tense nerves.The Egyptians and Greeks of long ago wore amulets, usually suspended from the neck, as a protection from the evil eye. (b) scabbard, simple, slightly curved, wood with hoof like ebony tip. Band of tortoiseshell ? at opening carved in shape of flame or flowing leaf sticking out to one side. Round hole drilled through top, five thin lines incised across wood spaced evenly along length of scabbard. Small patches of glossy black material in a few places, and a black colour in the grain of the wood indicate that the wood may have been once enamelled black

- Description
- Kris with carved light coloured wooden handle, collar of pink stones between it and blade, and wooden scabbard of light colour with dark splotches and large organic cover for sword guard. (a) kris, long, narrow, pointed, double edged blade flaring out at shoulders which have ornate, lacy edges and deep double groove incised on either side of blade. Handle is an angular, carved block of wood with a wide band of ebony girding its middle. Small brass ring set in with round pink stones jade? at junction between blade and handle. (b) scabbard, carved of light coloured wood with dark patches. Straight, wide, and rounded at tip with large, flat, rounded crosspiece at mouth. Opening elongated at one end to accept wide shoulder of blade, and crosspiece slightly carved to accentuate shape. Dark splotches of heartwood form organic patterns on the lighter wood of the scabbard.
