- A metal butter dish with a high domed lid that has a large flower engraved boldly on one side. The rim of the dish is flattened and has an ornate triangular shaped handle at one side and two metal slots sticking out from the other (probably to hold knife). The dish has four triangular legs, in the same design as the handle, that support the dish. The base is decorated with a drawing of a tepee and has the initials “I.B.”. The dish is also marked with “Standard Silver Co. Ltd. Toronto Quadruple Plate 257 Hard White Metal”.

Painted at centre is large bouquet of flowers, roses, chrysanthemums, tulips, of various colours, with gold leafy vine in band around edge. Lip is pierced with a series of slits along sides, and an oval hole at each end for a handle. Edges trimmed with gold colour and spaces between piercing filled with a string of small painted flowers. Lacquer over all paint covering tray.
