Description: This triptych features three women: one per panel. In the first panel is a woman standing holding a rope which is cut of by the edge of paper. Her head is facing right and down looking into the second panel where the rope she is holding is attached to a cart. This cart contains a very large basket of flowers, and a women is crouching down by the cart holding a beautiful red scarf. The carts wheel goes into the third panel where a woman holding a small child stands. This woman’s body is facing towards the right, but her head turned down and to the left to view the cart. There is no background in any of the scenes, except for a blossoming tree behind the cart.

Description: Small, square, white linen bag with drawstring through casing at neck. Pierced design has been worked through the linen by cutting and drawing out a certain thread, then following this line with stitching which is pulled tightly around counted bunches of thread. Design on one side is square windowpane, other side three horizontal lines. Pierced stitching follows sides of bag and along drawstring casing. Drawstring of cord made from loosely twisted linen threads, unlined.

Dimensions: 18.0 x 22.6 cm

Description: A rectangular ecru linen bag with green and blue embroidered trees and blue handle. Flat bag has on each side three stylized triangular trees made up of small green triangles and sitting in large blue pots which have been worked in cross stitch on coarse linen canvas. Border of small green triangles and blue lines along bottom and top of bag. Twisted blue cotton cord handles are attached through small ivory rings covered with stitching and making a small hole at each side of the bag. Double handles are tied in bows at each side and together at top. Small, hollow, pointed sterling silver cone, awl? is tied through a small hole at the top by a narrower blue cord to one of the handles. Lined with green Japanese silk.

Description: This tryptic features 7 wise women all described by a text panel. These panels are made from 2 portions: a white block filled with text, and a red rectangular block to the right and overlapping the white. The print is framed by a border which is black and has light blue and pink decorative bands in it. The seven women are in a room that is mostly green in colour. All the windows are closed, and blinds shut. From left to right: a woman stands reading; a woman sits at a table with scrolls on it (both women facing right); Three women in the center panel engaged in - maybe - a conversation: 2 are standing and one sitting in the middle front of them; two women in the third panel face right, the first sitting and reading, the second standing. The women are all wearing red fabric tied to the waist and flowing to their feet.

Description: This triptych is highly decorative with a flower motif on everything from the carpet to the kimonos. Most prevalent colour is red and green. A banquet is occurring. On the first panel in the trc two women sit on a platform. 5 other women standing and sitting are in this panel as well, all facing right. The second panel features a table covered with food and flowers. 3 active women are gathered around the table, almost blending into the decorations while a fourth woman kneels in the trc facing right. A rectangular descriptive panel is in the trc. The third panel features a separate room in the tlc where the men are gathered around a table and served by women. 5 women are gathered in the foreground of this panel playing instruments and holding small bowls; they are facing the table that is in the second panel.
