- History / Biographical
- The Senior Friends of Banff, a senior citizens social and philanthropic organization at Banff, Alberta, Canada, was established in 1965 and operated until 1984 when the group amalgamated with the Banff Senior Citizens' Society. The Senior Friends organized social and recreational activities and raised funds for the Banff Library / Seniors Centre.

- The Town of Banff is an Alberta municipality situated in Banff National Park. It gained autonomy from the Government of Canada, Department of the Environment beginning 1990.

- Fonds includes: guest book used at Incorporation ceremonies at Town of Banff Offices, January 1, 1990, and Whyte Museum of the Canadian Rockies, January 27, 1990; sample sixty-year resident scroll; sound recording of incorporation ceremony at Whyte Museum by Banff Centre technicians; photograph of Mayor Leslie Taylor and Councillors in Town Office, 1991 by Simon Hoyle. Microfilm records include Town of Banff original roll #1 and #2 pertaining to town council minutes and bylaws, 2008; 3 rolls of Town of Banff council meeting minutes, 1911-2007; 3 rolls of Town of Banff bylaws, No. 1-274. Microfiche records contain all plans and drawings of Banff buildings in Parks Canada files at time of incorporation, 1990 and 32 rolls of microfilm of same.
