The body has been painted brown and the facial features also painted (black eyes and red lips). The doll has short yarn (wool?) beige hair with one small braid on each side of the face and the rest of the hair hanging free. The doll is wearing a fringed hide dress and headband, both glued in place. The headband is decorated with a zig-zag red line.

Blonde hair has been cut. Composition body has ball joints at elbows and knees, string and wire hold the doll together. Fingers are individually made but the toes are only indicated. On back of head: "Made in Germany Armand Marseille 390 n. A 8 M" . Ensemble includes: bloomers, garters, 2 half slips, undershirt, dress, cape, knitted cap.
