- A bright orange canvas belt that fastens with a natural coloured leather buckle and strap. The buckle is also leather covered. The belt has been used to hold a pin and medal collection, many of which are still attached. Original with the belt and on leather at either end are 'Overseas Mounted Rifles' pin (at buckle) and a crossed sword pin (at strap). Other pins include: one crown with red velvet cap (see #103.09.0059); one square with Laurel Wreath (see #103.09.0064); one 'Edmonton 49th Regiment' (see #103.09.0073); one maple leaf with crown over 'Vancouver 29 Canada'; one maple leaf with crown over 'Edmonton 49 overseas Batallon' and a beaver; one 'R.C.H.A.' - A soft belt of red violet velvet with large silver buckle. Velvet is sewn into long tube and gathered slightly at end where attached to buckle. Two part buckle hooks together with large hook and eye on back. Cast buckle shaped like two pointed cinquefoils butting together at the flat side, each containing a female dancing figure in very high relief. Figure has firm breasts and tiny waist, and is wearing draped bloomers and tall headdress. Scrolls and flowers form garland around figure. Smooth border around pebbly background surface, follows shape of buckle each side of buckle has bar soldered across back to attach belt. Velvet attached one side only with loose basting stitches around bar.

- Black elastic rayon belt with 5 diamond shaped groups of metal studs, fancy metal filigree buckle resembles butterfly when hooked. One side of buckle has some decoration missing, other side missing original hook. Large hook sewn on to end of material rather than on buckle. Metal studs are probably "marcasite" def. a pale, bronze-yellow, orthorhombic iron disulfide also called white iron pyrites. Also an ornament made of crystallized marcasite or of polished steel.
