The bowl has a white background with a gold edge and a pattern of grapevines with green leaves outlined in gold and clusters of gold grapes. - A small round clock in a heavy brass case with a hinged round frame of brass decorated with scroll and flower relief surrounding a glass window lined with copper. The door opens to a white enamel face with black numerals from 1-12 (the twelve is red) inside a circular scale marked in minutes (by fives) from 5-60 around the outside. The clock has delicate gold hands that can be adjusted by a gold knob at the centre of the dial. The housing of the clock is soldered into a brass ring and has a lug projecting from the centre of the back with a threaded hole through the top and a hole drilled through the side. There is no apparent way to wind this clock.

The teapot’s spout extends at an angle from the base of the pot and then straight back to the shoulder of the pot. The teapot has a flat lid with a high knob. The teapot is white with green grape leaves in a vine around the middle, a green band on the lid, and thin gold lines accentuating the pot’s curves. The teapot is marked “054 china mark”.
