The plastic tube is situated on a bezeled block of wood in two tones, one a deep brown colour, the other a light yellow. A small, brass coloured metal plate at the base of statue reads “Presented To / 2351/ Royal Canadian Army Cadet Corps / Banff Alberta / By The / Alberta United Services Institute / Calgary Alberta / For Being The Best Army Cadet Corps / In Southern Alberta / 1959”. The plate is held in place by four metal rivets, one in each corner.
