Description
A small round clock in a heavy brass case with a hinged round frame of brass decorated with scroll and flower relief surrounding a glass window lined with copper. The door opens to a white enamel face with black numerals from 1-12 (the twelve is red) inside a circular scale marked in minutes (by fives) from 5-60 around the outside. The clock has delicate gold hands that can be adjusted by a gold knob at the centre of the dial. The housing of the clock is soldered into a brass ring and has a lug projecting from the centre of the back with a threaded hole through the top and a hole drilled through the side. There is no apparent way to wind this clock.

A tan coloured, nearly square, clutch bag of thick textured cowhide stitched together with white thread. Bag closes with triangular flap in front with square hole and large, 8.5 x 5.5, pull tab which fasten over a leather covered square "button" with a notched top. Smaller flap beneath covers full sized pocket in front. Inside completely lined with finer grained, softer beige leather. Back inside has compartmented patch pocket, and front inside has single patch pocket. Front pocket holds soft beige leather rectangular, flat case with triangular flap which is lined with soft white leather, contains fabric label "made in France". Back pocket contains beige leather backed pocket mirror in one side, and 7.5 x 8 cm square beige leather change purse with rounded flap and lined with soft white leather, imprint of green oxidized penny inside.
