A large shallow basket with flat bottom and sides flaring outward. Coiled construction with stitches of split root around each coil stitched into the top of the coil below. Natural coloured background with imbricated design of wide dark parallograms forming 'V's sitting on a single band of dark coil, and joined each to the other at the top with a dark bar with oblique lines running off topped by a small parallogram of golden brown with a single motif of golden brown between each. Sturdy but flexible, small string loop one side. Note: minor stitch breakage revealing coils beneath.

Old headdress. Beaded browband with two strands of cylindrical aqua beads and black beads, with large green and black hanging beaded loops. White feathers and dark feathers trimmed with red down tips and bases. Horse hair, dyed purple, attached to feather tips. Many ermine tails, dyed horsehair, and cropped horsehair attached to each end of browband. Base of feathers wrapped with strips of old English blanket and heavy white thread. Bits of ermine skin and tails and white lace attached to scullcap made from brown felt hat.
