Description
Man's regalia set with eight pieces including shirt, leggings, belt, gauntlets and moccasins. Soft off-white skin with bead strips of dark blue background, predominant yellow and orange pattern of diamonds and spears. The diamond has a design of blue, light blue and red inside. Also a stepped design of light blue, yellow green and red. (a) The shirt has beads strips over the shoulders and on the arms, also a separate piece on centre back. In the front is an attached beaded tie. Fringes along sides of bead strips. (b,c) Long leggings with ties and one bead strip. (d) Belt has same beaded pattern along length. Large medallion (16.0 cm dia.) with a centered 8 pointed star in dark blue and red with white, yellow, blue, red and dark blue design attached to one end. (e,f) Gauntlets have plain fringed gloves with beaded gauntlets, yellow and orange chevrons on dark blue background. Along top edge is a border of stacked squares in green, yellow and red on a light blue background. (g,h) High top moccasins are beaded all along the top and around back.
