Ladies buckskin beaded dress. Fringe all around bottom and a row half way down the skirt. V-shaped inset at sides of skirt is fringed. Back beaded yoke is 31.0x48.0, all beadwork is backed by heavy cotton. Short sleeves have fringe at end, some with black beads. Beadstrip is 42.0x16.0 attached to bodice, open under arms. Two stepped pyramids of red, green, yellow and blue on a white background, 3 blue standards with crosses at top between pyramids. Front yoke blue and yellow beaded bands top and bottom, white background , centre design of 2 irregular shapes in red, green and yellow, flanking them are two stepped diamond shapes in red, blue and yellow, flanking them on both sides of yoke are red chained rectangles. Hanging from bottom of yoke are 11.0 long are green tubular beads from which hang either a bell or a shell. A woman's tan buckskin jacket, fringed and lightly beaded with flowers, smoked buckskin, edges pinked. Cut western style with collar, yoke, inset sleeves, and pockets with front opening full length. 12.0 cm fringes below front yoke, and down backs of sleeves continuing across yoke in back. Front ties closed with four sets of buckskin thongs. Six large beaded flowers on two front pockets, front yoke and back are shades of blue with red and yellow accents, with yellow leaves outlined in green. Each side of front band contains four chevrons in shades of blue with red accents, pointing toward front opening. Machine stitched and completely lined with cream coloured fabric. Two inside breast pockets with stitching above to indicate that there may have been flaps there at one time.
