Small, square, white linen bag with drawstring through casing at neck. Pierced design has been worked through the linen by cutting and drawing out a certain thread, then following this line with stitching which is pulled tightly around counted bunches of thread. Design on one side is square windowpane, other side three horizontal lines. Pierced stitching follows sides of bag and along drawstring casing. Drawstring of cord made from loosely twisted linen threads, unlined.

Description
A rectangular ecru linen bag with green and blue embroidered trees and blue handle. Flat bag has on each side three stylized triangular trees made up of small green triangles and sitting in large blue pots which have been worked in cross stitch on coarse linen canvas. Border of small green triangles and blue lines along bottom and top of bag. Twisted blue cotton cord handles are attached through small ivory rings covered with stitching and making a small hole at each side of the bag. Double handles are tied in bows at each side and together at top. Small, hollow, pointed sterling silver cone, awl? is tied through a small hole at the top by a narrower blue cord to one of the handles. Lined with green Japanese silk.

Description
Two Thermos bottles in oval shaped, brown leather case with red leatherette lining, mid divided and strapped lid. Each of two Thermos bottles has screw top which doubles as cup, cork stopper, glass lining, stainless steel body. Pressure bottom near top off stainless exterior can be pushed to release top portion of stainless body and glass liner for removal, cleaning, and replacement. Liner is round bottomed and mirror lined for heat retention. Corrugated cardboard lies between glass liner and stainless container. "1914 Trademark Thermos" seen on glass liner. Bottom of each of Thermos stamped "American Thermos Bottle Co., New York... American Trademark Thermos, U.S. Patent followed by date lists from 1905 through 1908. One of corrugated liners disintegrated from dryness.
