- A free standing block on which are carved two faces each side (front and back) the whalebone is a mottled colour and irregular in texture, one side the larger face is on top, other side the larger face is on the bottom, each expression is different, the features are stylized but distinct.

A business card was enclosed in the case: printed: Tsunejiro Miyaoka; handwritten: To Mr. Jack White with kind remembrances, Banff.July 24th 1935.
