Design of white ground with alternating black and white border in lazy stitch, and three black buffalo, increasing in size as descending down the length, two bison heads and a bison standing right profile. The left rosette is of a bison head, but the right rosette is a replacement and is a stylized sun, a red circle on a white ground. Buckskin thongs at base of "cravats" and tops.

The cuff is edged and sewn separately, and the top is felled and seamed, very short fringe on outside, and the thongs which close the leggings are drawn through to become an additional fringe. Vamp inset is covered with velvet applique bordered by green and red dyed quills, and a pattern of conventional flowers in red, rose, and pink beads with blue stems has been applied to the black velvet.
