Varnished wooden lamp made from a twisty dark red branch with numerous crevices and seams. Irregular base is 4.5 cm. high and is fashioned from a cross section of a tree. The outer surface of the base is blond while the inside rings are dark. Red felt is glued to bottom of base. Light brown cardboard shade is decorated on one side only with three watercolour flowers handpainted in different shades of brown, green and white. A red and yellow net bag with short braided handle, and yellow and orange tassel at bottom. Thick red and yellow silk ? cord has been knotted into a net pouch with the ends braided to form a handle. Bottom of pouch is gathered with thicker, yellow silk cord tied in ornate knot and attached to tassel. Tassel composed of fine yellow threads of silk dyed bright orange at the ends and flattened around rectangular support at top which is wrapped with gold coloured metallic thread woven through the silk threads to form a rectilinear pattern.

A seated buddha with his feet in a lotus position at the centre of a lotus blossom. His right hand rests palm up in his lap and the left is raised in a blessing (or teaching position). The carved figurine is wood with simple features, large ears, and draped robes. An elongated tall thin simple figure carved from a single piece of wood which is half light and half dark. The figure has one hand at the waist holding a wooden spear through a hole drilled in its fist. The other hand is clasped at the chest holding the broken remains of another spear. The figure is wearing a short skirt,a tall flat headdress with three incised vertical grid-like bands and has large pierced earlobes and very simply carved facial features. There is a tall wire silver coloured collar that is wrapped around the figurine’s long neck. The figure is standing on a low circular base made of a different type of wood.
