- A smoothly carved plaster bird (partridge or grouse) with a small leather crest on top of its head and metal legs. The bird stands on a round slice of tree branch or trunk. The bottom marked with a maker’s mark “HAL” joined together and “70.”

- Hand- carved duck of oiled, reddish brown wood. Centre of eyes have been painted black, detailed carving throughout surface, especially neck and head. Webbed feet carved in relief clutching surface of rock shaped base.

In the circle is a cross. Sitting on the oval is a monkey with a very long tail which hangs down the left side of the oval, curving around the bottom. Inside the oval following the outline of the cirle, on the top is written the following: "Mono." Below the circle, also curved is the following: "Gram". In script in the middle of the cross in the circle is written: "Alcoa". Below the oval and monkey tail in small block letters is: "Trade Mark Registered - Made in Canada".
