The centre of the plaque features an arc of 10 silver coins, dating from 1969 to 1978, that commemorate Banff Indian Days. There is a coin index underneath the coins: 1969 Chief Walking Buffalo; 1970 Chief Hector Crawler; 1971 Chief Crowfoot; 1972 Chief Sitting Wind; 1973 Chief Turtle “Spope”; 1974 Chief Imasees; 1975 Chief Steinhauer; 1976 Chief White Calf; 1977 Chief Black Wolf; 1978 Charlie Beil (Sculptor).
