- Stan J. "Windy" Carr, 1890-1983, was a guide and outfitter and dude ranch owner at Lake Louise, Alberta and Tete Jaune Cache, British Columbia, Canada. Carr, an English immigrant, began working for Brewster Transport Co. at Lake Louise in 1910. He worked as a pony-boy around Lake Louise and began leading pack train trips. Rev. Dr. S. Knapp, Worcester, Massachusetts was a client for thirty years. Carr later operated the Half Diamond M ranch near Tete Jaune Cache, B.C.

- Sydney R. Vallance, 1891-1979, was a lawyer and mountaineer at Calgary and Banff, Alberta, Canada. Vallance began his law career in 1920, establishing a private practice in 1929. He joined the Alpine Club of Canada in 1932 and held executive positions at both the section and national levels, including a term as President from 1947 to 1950. He made over one hundred ascents during his climbing career. Vallance was also a member of the Skyline Trail Hikers of the Canadian Rockies and was an avid amateur photographer

- The Trail Riders of the Canadian Rockies is a trail riding organization based in Calgary, Alberta. The organization was established in 1923 with the support of the Canadian Pacific Railway. The first ride was held in 1924, and annual summer trail rides and pow-wows attracted fifteen hundred members by 1929. Many notable residents of the Bow Valley, including members of the Brewster and Moore families, Catherine Robb and Peter Whyte, and Carl Rungius have participated in trail rides. Support from the Canadian Pacific Railway ended in 1961. As of 2020, the Trail Riders of the Canadian Rockies remains an active organization. - Ulysses LaCasse (or Ulysse; or La Casse), 1888-1972, was a trail guide and national park warden at Lake Louise and Banff, Alberta, Canada. LaCasse came to Banff in 1908 and worked in various cooking jobs including trail cook for surveys and trail outfits. He guided Caroline Hinman's trail riding groups before joining the Canadian Army in Europe and Siberia. LaCasse accompanied Byron Harmon, Soapy Smith and Louis Freeman on their five hundred mile expedition through the Canadian Rockies, 1924. LaCasse was a long-time warden in the Castle Mountain and Lake Louise districts

- Walter Ashdown, 1890-1975, was a chauffeur at Banff, Alberta, Canada. Ashdown emigrated to Canada in 1904 and farmed for several years before becoming a private chauffeur, ca.1913, to prominent Calgarians prior to the First World War. He served as a dispatch rider and driver in France, returning to Canada in 1919. The following year he commenced employment with Brewster Transport Co., retiring ca.1970. During his long career, Ashdown was Brewster's chauffeur to celebrities, including royalty, politicians and actors. His 1930 drive of 81 miles in 82 minutes to deliver life-saving equipment to the Monarch Mine near Field, B.C. was widely publicized. In 1970, Ashdown received an award for one million accident-free miles.

- History / Biographical
- The West family were prominent residents at Stephen, British Columbia, Canada. The Iverson family were residents of Banff, Alberta, Canada. Henry West, 1880-1932, Mary Charlotte West, 1883-1976, and children Violet (Harbidge), Dorothy (Dolly) (Iverson), Harry (1904-1955) and Gwen lived at Stephen, B.C., a logging camp near the Great Divide between Laggan and Field B.C., from ca.1910 until 1913. In 1913 the family moved to Banff, and Vi, Dolly and Harry West continued their father's logging business during the First World War.
- In 1925 Dolly married Charles (Carl, Blondy) Iverson, 1896-1972, had two sons, Charles (Bud) and George. Between ca.1927 to 1947 Dolly worked at the Upper Hot Springs and Cave and Basin. Carl operated a gas station in Lake Louise followed by a vulcanizing business on the corner of Wolf and Bear Street in Banff. In 1932 Carl Iverson began work as a National Park employee until his retirement in 1961. Carl Iverson died of lung complications stemming from gas during the First World War. George Iverson operates a guide and outfitting company in British Columbia, and has two sons. Charles (Bud) Iverson is a forestry engineer, has three sons and also resides in British Columbia.

- William O. Field, 1904-1994, of Massachusetts, U.S.A., was a noted geologist with the American Geographical Society and an expert on mountain glaciers of the northern hemisphere. He made trips to the Canadian Rockies with his father, William Osgood Field, during the 1920s even before graduating from Harvard in 1926. William O. Field studied key glaciers in British Columbia and Alberta from 1922 until 1981.

- Fred Yee Wing (1912-1968) was born in China. He mmigrated to Canada in 1921 aboard a CP steam ship RMS Monteagle and landed in Victoria B.C. Edith Belle (Lee) Wing (February 22, 1925 - 2014) was born in Tillsonburg, Ontario. Edith and Fred married in 1945 and had four children: Carole Elaine (Wing) Gray, (April 13, 1947) born Banff Mineral Springs Hospital, Banff, Alberta; Paul Delano Wing, (January 6, 1952), born Calgary General Hospital, Calgary, Alberta; Brian Frederick Wing, (July 27, 1957) born Calgary, Alberta; Donald Francis Wing (August 30, 1960) Banff Mineral Springs Hospital, Banff Alberta. Edith and Fred Wing were the first Chinese family to settle in Banff National Park and owned and operated the restaurant The Dominion Cafe. This has since been recognized by Parks Canada and the Heritage Society of Banff. Following the death of Fred Wing, Edith Wing sold the business and the family moved to Calgary. The Dominion Cafe had a 99 year lease with the Government of Canada. Edith Wing took up photography in the 1940s as a hobby and documented the everyday as well as her family life in Banff. She photographed up until 1968 when her husband, Fred Wing, passed away. She used a Rolleiflex and Kodak 616 Vigilant.

- Andrew "Scotty" Wright, 1887-1960, was a national park warden, carpenter, guide and rancher at Banff and Morley, Alberta, Canada. Wright came to the mountains in 1905 after homesteading and worked for Banff National Park as a warden in the Bankhead, Spray River and Ghost River districts. He was employed in various other jobs related to guiding, construction, equipment maintenance and repairs between Donald, British Columbia and Banff during the 1930s and 1940s, as a camp foreman for the United States Army near the Columbia Icefield, 1942. Andrew "Scotty" Wright and Lillian Hunter Wright, 1890-1936, had two children, Mary, 1914-1968, and William (Bill) "Scotty", 1929-2003. Mary Wright Burles was manager at various times of Skoki Lodge, the Lake Louise Inn, Sunshine Lodge and the Bar C Ranch near Morley where her father often lived his later years.

Content pertains to members of the Banff hockey teams who played between 1908 and ca. 1980. Includes group shots of hockey teams in various years, some featuring Jack MacAulay as coach; individual portraits and posed photographs, including Herb MacAulay ca. 1965; print depicting Herb Ollis feeding a bear in 1938; and 2 newspaper clippings from 1979 pertaining to Banff's hockey team.
