(Mary) Alice Saltiel-Marshall (1948-2019) was an artist based in Canmore, Alberta, Canada. Alice operated the company Art by Saltiel and had her work displayed and sold at various locations in the Bow Valley, including the Whyte Museum, the Banff Centre, and Avens Gallery.

History / Biographical
Simon Hoyle, b.1949, was born and educated in England in mining engineering. After coming to Banff, Alberta, Canada while traveling in 1972, he made use of his "hobby" of photography by holding the photography concession at Sunshine Village for eight years. Hoyle studied photography at the Banff School of Fine Arts during the summers of 1973 and 1974. In 1978, he founded Moose Country Colour in Canmore, Alberta with Alex Graham and Vance Hanna and, in 1986, he established Simon Photography in Banff. Hoyle was joined in the business by associate John Bonner in 1991 and, in 1994, he sold to Bonner and moved with his family to New Zealand.
