In the upper left and right cornes are light purple mountains. Pale blue sky is upper center and left a bit.

- A daytime scene of a Stoney encampment. At the left of the painting there is a looming teepee which appears to be in the immediate foreground. The encampment forms a circle in front of the viewer with the teepees at their smallest in the distance in the middle of the painting. The teepees are a variety of colours. In the middle of the painting behind the encampment are green rolling hills and beyond the hills are grey mountains. People are milling about within the encampment. The sky is blue but across the entire top of the painting there are grey clouds.
