In the background are more buildings and a man in a hat is walking behind three cows. In the top right there are dark clouds and vertical lines coming down from the clouds that represent rain. There is a thin black line bordering the image. The print is done in black ink. It appears that 5 or 6 colours were used in the print, primarily green, blue, brown and yellow. The artist’s signature is in the bottom rhc “WJ Phillips”. From accompanying write up it could be assumed that the image is of Lake of the Woods area near Winnipeg.
