Middle is a line of teepees, a chief in a trailing headdress and an Indian in a loincloth are looking towards two Indians on horseback people up and embankment from the stream. Right hand side there are three Indians on horseback starting to cross the stream. Blue and mauve foothills and a pink, orange and yellow sky in the background that has been hand tinted.
