Lefroy is seen just past the rocky outcrop in the centre of the image. The sky is white and yellow. The entire drawing is quite dark in tones of yellow and brown.

Description

From the cr to the bl is a bank of land and from this bank grows a couple of trees. These trees take up the center area and are on a bit of a tilt down to the bottom left. In the background far in the distance and on a lower level there is a fast running body of water. Around this body of water are large bush like trees.

This image has a lot of dark areas with some light areas on the fallen tree and on the right in the Horsetail ferns.

In the center of this photograph is a mountain that reaches high to the center top area. In the foreground from the bl to the br are trees. These trees are very dark in tone, and are small in size because of there distance from the viewer. The mountain that is in the distance has snow on it's peak and a cloud or haze cover over several sections.

This photograph is of a canyon and shows a very close up view of the area. In the center of the image is the open part of this canyon where one could walk. On the left and the right are the canyon walls that are very vertical and come closer together as they reach upwards. On the walls in some areas are bits of snow that sit on ledges. The canyon floor has some snow coverage and areas that look to be covered with ice.
