A matched cup and saucer with a wide dark band inside the rim of the cup and on the saucer. Six vine-like scrolls are spaced evenly around the inside and outside of the cup, and also on the rim of the saucer. The middle of the cup depression and the bottom of the cup are both decorated with a circle drawn around a scrollwork medallion. The cup has a narrow base flaring out to the mouth, and a slightly scrolled loop handle attached at one side. Both pieces are marked “Royal Grafton, Fine Bone China”, and “Made in England”. The cup is also marked with the number “#1564”.

A matched cup (b) and saucer (a). The cup has a wide mouth, a narrow base and a shaped loop handle. Both pieces have the edges accented in gold. A narrow coloured band at the rim inside the cup and on the saucer with pointed loops hanging from this border. Both the rim of the saucer and the inside of the cup are also decorated with clusters of flowers alternating with ornate T-shaped figures connected together in a ring by curling vines.
