Description
A pair of lightly decorated Woodland style moccasins, the foot cut from a single piece of buckskin which is seamed up the toe to the vamp which is an inset panel extending to form tongue, seamed at the back, and an ankle flap is stitched around. Ties of thongs extend around ankle and would wrap around ankle flaps. Vamp inset is covered with velvet applique bordered by green and red dyed quills, and a pattern of conventional flowers in red, rose, and pink beads with blue stems has been applied to the black velvet.

Description
A pair of large hand made buckskin moccasins heavily beaded across toe and along outside of foot. Beadwork orange background with motif at centre of toe of large green diamond shape outlined with red orange and resting on a light blue triangle outlined with dark blue at each point of the diamond. This motif is repeated on the side of the heel. Light blue band around toe near sole contains small green and red-orange squares spaced along it. Large ankle flap, and long narrow tongue with long thin thongs threaded through moccasin at each side of the tongue and through the tongue, edges of ankle flap notched, small fringe at bottom of heel.
