Filmed at Bow Lake and at the Peyto Lake Lookout, the plot follows an outlaw trapper who steals a snowmobile from outside a North West Mounted Police outpost, prompting a Marx Brothers-style chase wherein the Mountie attempts to apprehend the outlaw on snowshoes, skis, horse, truck, and snowmobile, which he eventually does.

NF - 28b is a copy of NF- 28a. Also includes two documents: two copies of a press release for the film, produced by the National Film Board.
