A tall cylindrical earthenware whiskey jug with a slightly flared base. The neck is in shape of a 'Toby' head wearing a large four cornered hat the same colour as the base. The loop handle sits on the shoulder of the jug. There is a cork in the neck that has a standing bear on top. The jug is marked with “Royal Doulton Trademark” and “RD No. 436948”.
