- A pair of flat, silk bags both lined with the same pink and purple striped silk fabric. (a) black rounded bottom , printed with rows of stylized flowers of red, blue, and pink. A row of black thread loops passing around bag just below mouth holds double drawstring cord of pink and green twisted cotton threads knotted at each end with small tassels. (b) blue square, printed with small scattered bouquets of stylized pink and yellow flowers, and small comb like symbol. Casing sewn below mouth holds double drawstring cord of twisted black cotton threads.

- Description
- A rectangular ecru linen bag with green and blue embroidered trees and blue handle. Flat bag has on each side three stylized triangular trees made up of small green triangles and sitting in large blue pots which have been worked in cross stitch on coarse linen canvas. Border of small green triangles and blue lines along bottom and top of bag. Twisted blue cotton cord handles are attached through small ivory rings covered with stitching and making a small hole at each side of the bag. Double handles are tied in bows at each side and together at top. Small, hollow, pointed sterling silver cone, awl? is tied through a small hole at the top by a narrower blue cord to one of the handles. Lined with green Japanese silk.

Tag printed with “ALBERTA STONEY INDIAN HAND CRAFTS MORLEY - ALBERTA” with a teepee and symbols. The reverse of the tag has CRW's writing: "Purse for belt belonged to Edwin Dixons mother - Belt he wore & is worn out Mina Lefthand - blind since he was 7."
