Description
A portable, collapsible, roll-up canvas camp cot; it folds in half at the centre, has three sets of ‘crossed legs’ (six wooden legs), metal pieces that keep it all together and a piece of canvas that stretches taut when the legs are splayed. There are two extra pieces of wood to make the bed longer by extending the two pieces of hanging canvas at both ends. The bed can be dismantled, rolled up, and tied with the two pieces of heavy cotton twill strips. Printed on the obverse side of the canvas (so when the bed is put together, it is on the underside of the canvas) at either end is a (Ken Jones’s monogram) “K” with a “J” leading off the top of the “K” so it is higher than the K, in black indelible ink.
