Description: A small silver bowl with a rounded bottom that is decorated with a swirled design. There is a gadroon band around the neck which flares slightly at the lip. The bottom of the bowl has an inset British coin and is marked “old Sterling Silver London H.M. 1892”.

Description: One sterling souvenir spoon from the World’s Columbia Exposition, Chicago, Illinois in 1893. The front of the spoon has, in relief: a head surrounded by a laurel leaf wreath on the tip of the handle, underneath that “WORLD’S COLUMBIA EXPOSITION”, Maritime emblems on the handle, and a ship at sea on the bowl. On the back, on the tip of the handle, is a circle of laurel leaves, inside the wreath a king wearing a crown, below crossed swords, underneath that a globe with “1492 1893”, below that a circle with “ THE WORLD’S COLUMBIA EXPOSITION SEAL CHICAGO, ILLINOIS”, under that “STERLING”.

Dimensions: 41.0 x 121.0 cm

Description: White cotton, high necked long dress. Front yoke of lace, panel of lace each side to the waist. High necked lace collar with tiny ruffled net material around the top. Bodice alternates lace and fine pleated cotton. Inset band of same lace at waist. Long skirt alternates with 4 vertical lace panels 4.5 wide with cotton. One lace panel all around 6.0 above hem. Three quarter length puffed sleeves of white cotton with 2 bands of lace and 2 bands of pleats. Back is fastened to the hips with 16 hooks and sewn eyes. On each side of back opening there are tiny pleats and a band of lace which extends downwards 54.0 below waist, the 2 bands are then joined with a horizontal band which is 52.0 long.

Description: A bison hunting scene painted in oils on the shoulder blade of a buffalo. The scene is of a large expanse of yellow-green praries with mountains in the background and blue sky above with two bison running in opposite directions, one chased by figure on pony with bow and arrow cocked ready to shoot. The work is signed “J.A. Dippie 1902” on the brc. The bone hangs from a chain attached at each side of the top. A paper sticker has been removed from the back with “A/TS HX/” showing beneath.
