Also includes a single photograph of The Learned's House in Newbury Port, Massachusetts, enlargements from Rocky Mountain trips, and various cards from The Vincents and Florence Dibell Bartlett. - Dimitri Georgevitch de Leuchtenberg (1898-1972), Duke of Leuchtenberg was a member of the Franco-Russian Beauharnais house. In 1927 the Marquis Nicholas degli Albizzi invited Dimitri and his wife Catherine (1900-1991) to join him for the summer at the cabin he had subleased from A.O. Wheeler at Mount Assiniboine. Albizzi and Dimitri were cousins. The Duke and Duchess de Leuchtenberg lived in Germany following the Russian Civil War and in 1931 began annual winter trips to Quebec to visit Albizzi and his new winter sports station in Saint-Sauveur-des-Monts in the Laurentians mountains in Quebec. The Duke worked for Albizzi as a ski school instructor. In 1937 he was chosen to be a member of the Canadian Ski School Committee and in 1938 was a founding member of the Ski Instructor's Alliance. In 1939 the Duke de Leuchtenberg bought the Saint-Sauveur station from Albizzi and moved his family permanently to Quebec, Canada.

- History / Biographical
- Simon Fraser (1776-1862) was an explorer who was involved extensively with the fur trade in Western Canada during the early 19th century. Fraser began his career in 1793 as a clerk and in 1801 he became a trading partner with the Northwest Company. While working for the company, Fraser participated in expeditions throughout the Canadian Rockies to establish trade relationships with local Indigenous populations. In 1808, Fraser and 23 men completed a 36-day expedition following what was mistakenly believed to be the Columbia River, which ended at Musqueam. The river was later named "Fraser River" in his honour by David Thompson. Following the conflict leading up to the Seven Oaks Massacre, Fraser moved to St. Andrews West to live with family, where he met and married his wife Catherine. The couple had 9 children together. In 1838, Fraser fought in the Upper Canada Rebellion, resulting in a knee injury which left him permanently disabled. Fraser died at the age of 86 in 1862, and was buried in St. Andrews West with his wife who died the following day.

- File consists of one album of colorized commercial postcards and one postcard print. Content pertains to tourist attractions and communities within Havana and other rural regions of Cuba. Subjects include unidentified local families and individuals, crop harvesting [including bananas, pineapples and cane sugar], livestock, dockyard and wharf scenes, a street carnival and other community events in Havana, city views, Cuba's 1909 presidential inauguration, a mass burial site, cathedrals, landmarks, and botanical gardens. Most items not dated or annotated. Postcard print has personal message addressed to "David" [likely David McDougall] in 1909, and one postcard depicting mass burial site has personal message to David McDougall from Mr. Adam Mackenzie.
