(a) A 50 ml Waterman inkwell made of glass. The inkwell would have held black ink. There is a yellow sticker on the front face of the inkwell, which contains a black rectangular box near the top, with the text: “NOIRE” within it. Underneath this, there is the text: “ENCRE WATERMAN”; “50 ml MADE IN FRANCE” in black ink.On the bottom of the inkwell there is raised text in the glass which reads: “WATERMAN MADE IN FRANCE APPROX 2 OZ”. There is also a “10” apparent, near the middle of the viewer-right side. (b) The inkwell has a black, plastic, screw-on lid.
